This popular programme is running once more to allow all staff access the proven benefits of practising
mindfulness. Designed and facilitated by our DCEO Cathie Paine and Maggie Farrar, the programme gently introduces delegates to mindfulness practice and the underpinning research.
Working within a supportive network of small groups, delegates are able to discuss and reflect on their progress, to contribute to their own – and others’ – well-being over the course of the programme. Sessions are engaging and draw on a variety of methods and materials to ensure a rich and deep journeyinto mindfulness.
‘The REAch2 Mindfulness Programme has been a fantastic journey for me. With a history of anxiety, I have
found the programme to be hugely beneficial both personally and professionally. Whilst it is not a cure
for mental health issues, it furnishes you with the tools to accept what is in the here and now, reducing
worries and quieting the mind. Worries and stresses don’t go away, but you do learn to treat them as
a passing visitor, letting them go on their way once they’ve said hello! The sessions are delivered with
huge warmth in a “safe” environment where you become part of a wonderful mindfulness community.’
