This series of online sessions is designed and co-facilitated by the Reach Eat Catering Manager and the Head of Finance.
The Headteacher is the food business operator registered with the local council and is therefore responsible for food safety, health and safety in the kitchen and reportable incidents. The three sessions in this series aim to support Heads in understanding this vital role and discharging their responsibilities with confidence.
Sessions are listed individually so delegates can book onto the session to best meet their needs. This listing is for the final session three only.
Session Three: Catering – Adding Value
The final session looks at how the catering offer can add value to schools by working with – and serving – the wider community. It looks at various ways of forging links with the community – for example, through the community fridge, looking at menus, contact with providers and ensuring value.
Target Audience: New and current Headteachers who wish to refresh their knowledge and prosepective Headteachers.
All sessions will be on zoom from 1.30pm-2pm. The zoom link will be emailed to delegates via Reach Teach.
