Code: REA-1524 Early Career Teacher Conference

This year REAch2 are working in partnership with Education Development Trust to roll out a structured two-year package of high-quality professional development for Early Career Teachers. This two-year blended programme provides teachers with the essential specialist support they need to improve their practice and build confidence following their Initial Teacher Training. It will arm early career teachers with skills they can use in the classroom straight away and offer the structured support needed to help them be the best teachers they can be.

 Through the programme, ECTs will:

  • Benefit from highly accessible online materials and both face-to-face and online training delivered by our local, school-based experts
  • Build a strong understanding of the ECF
  • Explore the evidence behind education research
  • Develop their teaching through practical ideas
  • Reflect on their development, identify areas of strength and improvement supported by their mentor
  • Engage in collaborative learning, with a community of other early career teachers.

The Early Career Teachers Online Conference forms part of this offer providing an excellent opportunity for all ECTs across the trust to come together for a one day event of keynote speeches, presentations and workshops. Full details of the conference will be sent to delegates nearer to the date.

Please book your place for this important event as soon as possible and by 10th December and via the EDT online portal.

Target Audience: The conference is for all early career teachers (ECTs) who begin Statutory Induction from September 2021.
