Code: REA-1525 Early Career Mentor Conference

Excellent mentoring is key to the success of the ECF initiative and every early career teacher must be allocated a dedicated mentor as part of their statutory entitlement. The Early Career Professional Development programme is centred around developing the mentor relationship and includes a focussed learning pathway for mentors.

Through the programme, mentors will:

  • Become the primary sources of support and challenge for their early career teachers
  • Benefit from regional training led by expert facilitators and local peer-coaching sessions with a ‘buddy’ mentor
  • Become confident in their knowledge of the Early Career Framework and develop their knowledge and skills in coaching and mentoring.

The Early Career Mentor Conference forms part of this offer providing an excellent opportunity for all ECT Mentors across the trust to come together for a one day event of keynote speeches, presentations and workshops. Full details of the conference will be sent to delegates nearer to the date.

Please book your place for this important event as soon as possible and by 10th December and inform us on your booking of any special dietary needs you may need us to cater for. Please note that as this event is at an external venue, cancellation charges may apply in certain circumstances, please view the terms and conditions attached for more information.

Target Audience: The conference is for all Early Career Teacher Mentors (not Induction Tutors).
