Code: REA-439 NC NQT Training - Woodside Primary Academy Hub

ETSA have worked with partners from across REAch2 to update the Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) Programme and bring it in line with current practices and expectations. The NQT Programme is designed to support the first step of a teacher’s developmental journey and is underpinned by the REAch2 Touchstones to deliver our aim of ‘exceptional opportunities for learning’. It is a valuable opportunity for NQTs to discuss their practice with peers and experienced professionals, and to find valuable space for reflection. Each session focuses on developing teachers’ knowledge of a particular curriculum area or aspect of pedagogy; it is in the integration of developing understanding of practice, pedagogy and seeing it in action that defines the programme.

Code: REA-430 NC Regional Heads Forum 2018-2019

2018/19 marks a significant revision in the way that Headteachers' Forums operate.

Although agendas will be centrally set, to ensure consistency of communication across all regions, some elements of each forum will be bespoke to each region. This enables Regional Directors to work flexibly, responding to needs as they arise and in acknowledgement of each region’s differing requirements. Regional Directors will release agendas nearer the time to bespoke the forum fully to their region. The Forums remain a core platform for two-way communication between central and school teams.

Further details will be communicated directly to Head by the Regional Administrative Team.
